Kapil Sharma¡¯s Zwigato Makers Organize A Special Screening For Delivery Riders; Pics Go Viral
Comedian Kapil Sharma¡¯s third acting stint Zwigato is in theatres now. Released on 17th March, this Nandita Das directorial is earning critical acclaim for its sensitive depiction of a delivery agent's life. Although the film is yet to score a promising number at the box office, the makers are doing their best to build the buzz.

Recently, the makers organized a special screening for the delivery riders as the film¡¯s story is inspired by their struggles only.
Joined by Kapil and his co-star Shahana Goswami, the special screening was organized in order to celebrate the delivery rider¡¯s hard work and dedication. The PR quotes, ¡°It was a way of showing appreciation for the essential services provided by these riders, who work tirelessly to ensure that people receive their deliveries on time.¡±
Kapil and Shahana interacted with the delivery riders during the screening, heard about their experiences and thanked them for their efforts.
Zwigato struggles to earn each penny amid films like Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar (crossed 100 crores) and Pathaan (crossed 540 crores) running in theatres successfully. Kapil¡¯s film clashed with Rani Mukherjee¡¯s Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway in theatres but is failing to match with that film as well.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweets, ¡°Zwigato witnesses an upward trend on Day 2 [+44.19%], but the 2-day total remains very low due to its biz on Day 1¡ Biz needs to have a miraculous turnaround/jump on Day 3 for a respectable weekend total¡ Fri 43 lacs, Sat 62 lacs. Total: ? 1.05 cr. #India biz.¡±
Kapil in an interview before the film was released said that Zwigato¡¯s failure won¡¯t affect him.
He told Rediff, ¡°I recently told my wife, if this film doesn't work, I will not lose anything. But if it succeeds and is a hit then I will get a lot from it. People will say 'Kapil ne bahut accha kaam kiya ha¡¯. It is important that more and more people watch the film. Comedy shows are my bread and butter. But because of that, I was motivated to look for something else to do.¡±

¡°Socha kitchen safe hai. Pange lete hain thode se. Someone asked weren't you afraid? I said why should I be afraid? Woh dukaan to apni chal hee rahi hai. I am just adding on to that,¡± he concluded. Kapil with a successful TV career already has 1 hit (Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karun) and 1 flop (Firangi) in his kitty.
