¡®What Else Do You Want In Life?¡¯: Taapsee Pannu On Romancing Shah Rukh Khan In Dunki
Shah Rukh Khan is all set to return to the big screen after a hiatus of four years since he was last seen in Zero (2018). He will soon be seen in his now-turned-controversial Pathaan co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. In his list next is Rajkumar Hirani¡¯s much-anticipated Dunki.
Actress Taapsee Pannu who will be sharing the screen with SRK in Dunki has now revealed that her character is of love interest to King Khan.
SRK at the Red Sea International Film Festival described Dunki as a light-hearted movie. Reacting to this Taapsee told India Today, ¡°It is a Raju Sir film, it is that world which is very endearing. I would be very surprised if anyone was not having fun on that set.¡± For the unversed, SRK also has Jawaan in his kitty.
Gulshan Devaiah who featured in Taapsee¡¯s recent movie, Blurr, teased her saying, ¡°She was very excited on Blurr¡¯s set talking about the movie and the anticipation around it.¡± To this Taapsee responded, ¡°In a Rajkumar Hirani film, if you get to romance Shah Rukh Khan, I will do a passing role in that... as well. What else do you want in life?¡±
Taapsee in a recent conversation shared how she figures out what is working or not working with the audience.
She said, ¡°Well, if someone knew this I think that person would be the God of cinema right now. I don¡¯t think any one of us can claim or fully know what is working or not working with the audience. As of now, when looking at a film as an audience, I think if will I spend my time and money on a film or no? Then I decide if I should do it. Otherwise, guarantee to kisi ko kisi cheez ki nahi hoti (There is no guarantee for anyone or anything).¡±
On the other hand, when SRK¡¯s latest song Besharam Rang is receiving rage reviews throughout the country, actor Prakash Raj has extended his words on it.
Slamming the BJP Minister who made remarks on Deepika¡¯s clothes, Raj tweeted, ¡°#Besharam BIGOTS.. So it¡¯s okay when Saffron clad men garland rapists..give hate speech, broker MLAs, a Saffron clad swamiji rapes Minors, But not a DRESS in a film ?? #justasking¡±. For the unversed Deepika has Project K and Fighter as her awaited releases.
