Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam co-stars Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai were once in an infamous relationship that lasted on quite a bitter note. Rai accused Salman of horrific domestic violence and that made a massive buzz in the showbiz. In a video that has now gone viral, several people are claiming that the duo hugged each other.
Did Salman and Aishwarya move past their differences?
Before leaving the star-studded Manish Malhotra¡¯s Diwali party, Salman was seen hugging a woman in a red outfit. Coincidentally, Aishwarya also wore red for the occasion. Aishwarya and Salman¡¯s life after breakup
After parting ways in 2002 with Salman, Aishwarya briefly dated Vivek Oberoi until 2005. She later went on to marry her Guro co-star Abhishek Bachchan in 2007. The duo now has a daughter named Aradhya who was born in 2011. Salman on the other hand dated many but married none as of now.
When Aishwarya issued a clarification against Salman post-break-up
In 2002, Aishwarya publicly stated as per ETimes, ¡°For the sake of my well-being, my sanity, my dignity and the dignity and self-respect of my family ¡ª ENOUGH! I will not work with Mr Salman Khan. The Salman chapter was a nightmare in my life and I am thankful to God that it is over!¡±
¡°While I have maintained a dignified silence about him and his wrong-doings, he (his family and friends) has repeatedly attacked the respect, dignity, and pride of me and my family (with irresponsible rumour-mongering. I stood by him enduring alcoholism, misbehaviour in worse phases and in turn, I was at the receiving end of his abuse (verbal, physical, emotional), infidelity, and indignity.¡±

Her statement concluded with, ¡°I do not want to get into the gory details and obnoxious experiences, which incite washing dirty linen and other ugly untruths. For a long time now, they have time and again tried to wreck my peace and sanity both personally and professionally. But they¡¯ll forget no one can play God because there is God! That is the only truth."
On the work front!
Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam¡¯s Ponniyin Selvan 2 and has no announced project yet. Salman on the other hand is busy hosting Bigg Boss 17 over the weekends and preparing well for the release of his film Tiger 3 during weekdays. The Maneesh Sharma directorial will arrive in theatres on 12th November.
