After having its successful international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, Kapil Sharma's "Zwigato" is now ready to screen at the Busan International Film Festival, which is scheduled to run from October 5 to 14 this year.
The film, presented by Applause Entertainment, is about an ex-floor manager (Kapil) of a factory who loses his job during the pandemic.?
He then struggles with the world of ratings and rewards while functioning as a food delivery rider. His stay-at-home wife looks into various job opportunities to boost the family's income while feeling scared about her newfound independence.?
The film is about how life is unrelenting, but there are also shared joyful times. It depicts the lives of inconspicuous, unseen "ordinary" people.
The trailer begins with Kapil arriving at a high-end apartment with a stack of pizza boxes, taking the stairs after reading a memo that delivery boys are not allowed to use the lift to find a lone drunk man.
The trailer also shows how he struggles to spend quality time with his wife, played by Shahana Goswami.
Sharing the link to the trailer, Kapil took to Instagram and wrote,
