After Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt Gets Trolled For Saying 'If You Don¡¯t Like Me, Don't Watch Me'
In her career spanning over a decade, despite proving her acting mettle Alia Bhatt has been subject to trolling - not just because she didn't know who the Prime Minister of India was in 2015 but also because she of nepotism.?
Now that her forthcoming film Brahmastra?is all set to be released in theatres, she was asked if the trolling affects her.?

Alia, in her response, echoed what Kareena Kapoor had said - the statement for which she got massively trolled and ignited the boycott trend against her film Laal Singh Chaddha.?

Here's what Alia has said:
"I can¡¯t keep defending myself verbally. And if you don¡¯t like me, don¡¯t watch me. I can¡¯t help it. That¡¯s something I can¡¯t do [anything about]. People have something to say. Hopefully, I will prove to them with my movies that I am actually worth the space I occupy," Alia was quoted as saying by Mid-Day.

After Kareena Kapoor, now Alia Bhatt has become a target of trolls.
Another fan commented, "I can only imagine she being tired of the constant trolling she faces on a daily basis. But man, she needs to keep her mouth shut and let it be. Don't provoke the bear, especially weeks before you biggest film release ever".??
A fan wrote, "I strongly feel she is frustrated because the clip of her putting finger is her ass and sniffing it away is going viral".
"When her movie flops later : Please yaar don't do this to me. The film is so beautiful, we have all worked so hard for it. Please don't boycott it..." read a comment.
"She's not wrong- nahi pasand toh mat dekho. BUT she chose the wrong time to say it", thinks a Reddit user.
Another fan commented, "They are literally daring us not to go to their movies, as if?OUR?livelihoods depends on Brahmastra and not theirs. The arrogance is astounding, honestly. Well, I¡¯ll be waiting for OTT."

"Is she expecting the movie to bomb, so that the failure can be attributed to audience boycott??Alia is smarter than we give credit for", said a fan.
Kareena Kapoor had made a similar comment in 2020.?
"The audience has made us, no one else has made us. Same people pointing fingers are the ones who have made these nepotistic stars right??Aap jaa re ho na film dekhne? Mat jao.?Nobody has forced you."
When she was recently asked about her old statement offending people, she said only a section of people are trolling. Furthermore, she added, "So, please don¡¯t boycott this film, because it¡¯s actually like boycotting good cinema. And people have worked so hard on it; we¡¯ve had 250 people work on this film for two-and-a-half years."
