Anupam Kher has not only acted in The Kashmir Files, a movie that is "based on video interviews of the first generation victims of the Genocide of Kashmiri Pandit Community In 1990," but he has been raising his voice for Kashmiri Pandits for many years.?
For the unversed, the first-ever meeting of the victims of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley took place in Delhi. Kher, being a renowned celebrity, was invited. In his speech,?Anupam Kher can be seen talking about how his grandfather and his family had to leave everything behind and live in a truck miles away from their home.?
