Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman's daughter Khatija is also following in the footsteps of her father.?
Khatija, who recently won hearts with the song 'Sagavaasi' with Arivu on Coke Studio Tamil has now opened up about her collaboration with the famous music band U2.?
Khatija Rahman, who has become an accomplished singer in a short time, reportedly took a gap as she was overwhelmed with the response she received at the initial stage of her musical career over eight years ago.?Khatija, who recently sang for Ponniyin Selvan 2 said,?¡°I felt overwhelmed¡.couldn¡¯t take it anymore,¡± she said in a video titled Music and I, shared by A.R. Rahman on social media on Wednesday.
Khatija refused to perform until she finally returned to music with 'Sagavaasi' only at the bidding of her mother again.

Now, in a video shared by AR Rahman on YouTube, Khatija can be seen talking about collaborating with her award-winning father for the music band U2 and many other things about her upcoming music album.?
In the video, Khatija said, ¡°My father said my life was going to change. We had recorded some lines from Thirukkural, but little did I know that it was a collaboration with the biggest band in the world, U2.¡±
Speaking of the members of the U2 music band, Khatija said, ¡°Bono and Edge were kindest superstars I ever met. The way they made me feel and put me at ease was incredible. Apart from being great musicians, I think they are incredible human beings as they stand up for the right things."?

Earlier Khatija, who is closely associated with the AR Rahman Foundation, said that she is passionate about working with youth.
"We have the Sunshine Orchestra that started in 2008 with a few students and now has expanded to Nagaland,¡± the singer was quoted as saying by yourstory.com.
