Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati is one of his most jinxed projects till date. Ever since the shoot of the film began, the crew has been facing a turbulence from several religious and political groups.?
The makers went ahead and even insured the film, safeguarding it against revenue loss due to rioting and property loss. A Bollywoodlife report quoted a source saying,

However, latest reports claim that the exhibitors are apprehensive about the screening of the film and are not planning to screen it without proper security being available to them.?

Even when the exhibitors have their expensive property insured, there is no proper cover in case there is a loss of revenue due to rioting. A senior executive from a cinema chain says, ¡°Exhibitors will not take the risk of showing a film if there is a threat or possibility of rioting as it seems likely in the case of Padmavati. Damage to their properties can prove to be very expensive if enough police protection is not made available. As of today, there are three states where protests against the films are gaining momentum.¡±
Looks like the troubles for Padmavati isn't down to zero till now.?
