Indian-Origin Contestant Sumeet Saigal Makes Pani Puri, Leaves MasterChef Australia Judges Bowled Over
We often underrate Indian food. Some of the simplest Indian dishes especially the ones easily available on Indian streets can leave people across the border bowled over. That's exactly what happened when Indian-origin contestant Sumeet Saigal presented Pani Puri to MasterChef Australia judges who tasted it for the first time and were amazed by its taste.?
Indian-Origin Woman's Pani Puri Wows MasterChef Australia Judges?
In the promo for the upcoming episode of MasterChef Australia that airs on Disney + Hotstar, the judges were enticed as Sumeet showed them how to eat a pain puri. First, she breaks the puri, then fills it up with potato mixture and adds mint-coriander chutney and date-tamarind chutney as well. The lip-smacking dish wows the judges so much that earned Sumeet earns a round of applause from her co-contestants.?
As Sumeet Saigal shared the video, she wrote, "To watch the judges enjoy the explosion of flavours is pure JOY! To have them taste it and love it, gosh, I am humbled and over the moon!"

MasterChef Australia contestant Sumeet is a mother of 17-year-old twins who resigned from her position as a sales manager to pursue her culinary dreams. Excited about her journey on the show, she wrote, "I am beyond excited to be have this dream come true! Excited to be representing my Indian heritage and my passion for all things culinary! Join me on my journey as I storm into that kitchen of dreams to make my dreams come true".
