In the post Vikrant and Sheetal shared, the two wrote, "For we have become one. We are bursting with joy and love to announce the arrival of our son. Love Sheetal and Vikrant (sic)."

Talking about his marriage, Vikrant told Indiatoday, Vikrant said, "My married life has been great. Yes, there are a lot of things that are different now. I feel a lot different but I married my best friend and couldn't have asked for more. I got a new house, and that has also been a blessing. So life is good and God has been very kind. Work-wise, it's also been a very good year. I am really happy with the kind of work that I am doing and that I have done."
