Before Making The Cut On The Laughter Challenge, Kapil Sharma Was Rejected For Indian Idol!
Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma who is high on fame with his ever-popular weekend TV comedy show, ¡®The Kapil Sharma Show¡¯ has made some exciting revelations. Kapil in conversation with the guests and 'Indian Idol 13' judges Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar, and Himesh Reshammiya spoke about auditioning for Indian Idol once and failing to make the cut.
Kapil talked about facing rejection in Indian Idol auditions
The episode which also featured 'Indian Idol 13' contestants Vineet Singh, Rishi Singh, Navdeep Vadali, and Sanchari Sengupta, had Kapil confessing that he used to participate in every reality show with the hope of getting selected.
Kapil said, ¡°I have given 'Indian Idol' auditions during one of the seasons. The auditions took place in Amritsar and I was not selected. Then there was this 'Indian Idol' copy 'Awaz Punjab Di' in our area where I was selected.¡±
Kapil then chose ¡®The Laughter Challenge¡¯
He also revealed that at the same time, he got selected for the comedy-based reality show 'The Laughter Challenge' and decided to go for it. ¡°During that very time, I also got selected for 'The Laughter Challenge'. However, I had self-analyzed and made a decision and I finally chose 'The Laughter Challenge'."
"Honestly, I used to give auditions in all kinds of shows with the simple motivation that 'kahin na kahin toh ghuss hi jaunga'(I will get an entry somewhere). But I am extremely delighted to see how 'Indian Idol' judges are here as the guests of our show¡±, Kapil added.
The latest season of Kapil¡¯s show is still trying hard
The recent season of Kapil¡¯s show came after a break with freshly packed artists who are trying to put up the season at a mark. The new additions to the show are Sidharth Sagar, Gaurav Dubey, Ishtiyak Khan, Srishty Rode, Srikant Maski and Satinder Soni. Artists like Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh skipped this season due to their prior commitments.
