Amid the heated debate wherein some right-wing groups are calling for a boycott of halal meat in Karnataka, Lucky Ali has also shared his perspective on the ongoing issue.?
The 63-year-old singer wrote a note on Facebook. He began the note with, "Dearly Beloved Indian brothers and sisters hope you're all well..I wanted to explain something to you..."

"The concept of Halal meat means that they can do business among themselves and consume Halal meat only among their people. What is wrong in pointing it as wrong," he said.?
Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Lucky Ali had said that retirement is on his mind. He said that lockdown made him consider retirement. He said that he was happy that he didn't have to travel a lot. For last few years, he had mostly been roads travelling and travelling hundreds of miles takes up a lot of his energy.
