Indianentrepreneur and angel investor Namita Thapar, most famous for being a judge on business reality television seriesShark Tank India, made her red carpet debut at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The Executive Director at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, Namita made heads turn with her beautiful pastel green Elio Abou Fayssal gown.?

As she posted pictures on her Instagram, fans hailed her as "gorgeous queen" and said, "Beauty with brains is my most favorite kind". Indian model and actress Parul Gulati who is also the CEO and founder of her hair extensions brand Nish Hair commented,?"Ohooo PC vibes".? ?
Namita Thapar is happy about entrepreneurs getting representation at the Cannes. "Typically you associate Cannes only with film stars or people from the movie industry and getting entrepreneurs here shows that we can be multi-dimensional and we can really do well in business and ace it in fashion as well... in a way breaking some stereotype," she was quoted as saying by Brut India. Namita also revealed she will be watching Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga at the Cannes Film Festival 2024.?
Aman Gupta was at Cannes last year
Last year, another Shark Tank India judge Aman Gupta had made his debut at Cannes red carpet along with his wife Priya Dagar. Gupta had become the first ever Indian entrepreneur to walk the Cannes red carpet. He had shared picture of him doing namaste on the red carpet. He wrote, "THIS IS IT. Proud to be the first Entrepreneur from India to walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. Sometimes you dream and they come true. Sometimes you don¡¯t even know what God has in store for you. I didn¡¯t dream about this one. But now that I'm living it the feeling is surreal. Thank you God. Thank you Life. Had always seen Aishwarya Rai or other celebs here at the Red Carpet. But never knew I would get this opportunity too. If I CAN, so CAN you."
