Everyone has extreme opinions about Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD. While some people are calling the Nag Ashwin directorial a spectacular game-changing film for Indian cinema, others think its quite horrible and boring. Arshad Warsi who watched the film also said that he didn't like the film which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. His comments flared up a big controversy after which the fans of the film and Baahubali actor slammed him. In turn, Telugu star Nani also slammed him for his comment and got massively trolled by Warsi's fans and those who didn't like the film.?
After getting heavily trolled, Nani has now said that he regrets making those comments about the Munna Bhai MBBS actor. He said when he made the comment, he had only watched the edited/cut clips on social media in which Warsi called Prabhas a joker. However, after receiving criticism, he went back and watched the entire interview on Unfiltered by Samdish where the Bollywood actor made the comment. After watching it, he realised that Warsi's statement was blown out of proportion and so was his reaction to it.?
Calling it a case of loss in translation, he praised Warsi and his acting skills. Calling him a "good actor", he said "we all loved him in Munna Bhai, not just north or south, but the whole of India. It's a household movie."?
Furthermore, he added that being actors they all need to be careful about their choice of words. He said both of them became a victim of the same. "Definitely, my choice of words was also poor. The biggest thing that you can do is accept your regret... Also, who are we to correct? But somebody asked us about our opinion and we reacted to it," he was quoted as saying by Mid-Day.
Soon, after Warsi's comments about Kalki 2989 AD went viral, Nani said that Arshad Warsi made this comment to get free publicity. "The person that you¡¯re referring to, this must be the most publicity he has got in his life. You are unnecessarily glorifying an unimportant matter," he had said.?
