2021 has turned memorable for Nawazuddin Siddiqui as he bagged a nomination for India as part of the 2021 International Emmy Awards. He took to his social media accounts to share the news.?

Speaking about the recognition, Nawazuddin shared his thoughts in an interview and said that he is pleased that his film is going to Busan, a hub for Korean cinema.'?
Siddiqui's film would be competing with Aparna Sen's directorial, 'The Rapist,' which, incidentally, is also a role he was offered earlier. In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Siddiqui has clarified what success means to him.
A report quotes Siddiqui as saying,
'Doing an English feature film isn't the benchmark of success for me. Some people think that buying a house is synonymous with success and for some, getting a break in the industry is a success. For others, achieving superstardom amounts to success.'?
He concluded, 'If I'm able to project a certain emotion in the way I wanted it to in a particular scene, that's becoming important.'"
Siddiqui is currently in London on the work front, where he is shooting for 'Heropanti 2'. He will be seen essaying the role of the villain.
