Aryan Khan has spent five days in jail (Arthur Road prison) already. His bail application is scheduled to be heard today. If the reports are to be believed,?Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) will likely oppose his bail plea today over new proof. Here is all you need to know.

After Khan filed a bail application, NCB was notified and asked to submit its views and findings. Earlier, NCB had stated that since Aryan Khan is an influential person, their investigation might be hindered if bail is provided to him. This could tamper with evidence and witnesses, it said.

Since no drug was found with Shah Rukh's son, his lawyer claims that his WhatsApp chats are being used as evidence to trap him. "The applicant is innocent and has not committed any crime whatsoever. The applicant has been falsely implicated in the present case," his bail plea states.?
Senior lawyer Taraq Sayyed, who is representing Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha in the case, has reportedly argued why would the accused go on the ship to sell five grams charas when they can buy the entire ship? "The 5 grams charas they have allegedly found, will those boys go on the ship to sell it? Like I said earlier, why would they go on the ship to sell 5 grams charas when they can buy the entire ship," he was later quoted by?ETimes.??

While initially eight people were detained in the case after small quantities of cocaine, MDMA (ecstasy), charas and Rs 1,33,000 cash were siezed, so far the NCB has arrested 18 people now that reportedly include 10 guests, four event organisers, two alleged suppliers and one consumer.??
