A new chargesheet filed by the Navi Mumbai Police in the Salman Khan case has spilt some shocking details. As reported by NDTV, a Rs 25 lakh-worth contract was taken out by Lawrence Bishnoi's gang in order to kill the superstar near his Panvel farmhouse. The chargesheet has named five people and decoded the jailed gangster master plan against Salman which has kept the entire country concerned.
It has also been revealed that the accused were preparing to buy state-of-the-art weapons AK 47, AK 92 and M 16 from Pakistan. They were also eyeing the Turkish-made Zigana weapon which was used in the murder of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Boys below 18 years of age were reportedly hired to kill Salman who are now hiding in Pune, Raigad, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Gujarat.
The chargesheet further revealed that the planning primarily took place between? August 2023 and April 2024 where around 60 to 70 people were tracking Salman Khan's movement around his Bandra house, Panvel farmhouse and Goregaon Film City. Shooter Ajay Kashyap alias AK and four others were assigned the task of carrying out the shoot and they later concluded that because the actor has bullet-proof vehicles and tight security, some high-end weapons are required.
The now-arrested Sukkha reached out to Pakistan-based arms dealer Dogar via a video call where AK-47 among other firearms wrapped in a shawl were shown and the negotiation was done. While Dogar agreed to supply the weapons, Sukha promised to pay 50 per cent in advance and the remaining amount post-delivery.
So why was the plan not executed? The shooters kept waiting for a green signal from Canada-based gangster Goldie Brar and Lawrence's brother Anmol Bishnoi. According to the chargesheet, in case the actor had been killed, the shooters had planned to fly to Kanyakumari and then travel to Sri Lanka by boat and then to a country where Indian investigation agencies could possibly not reach.
