Siddhanth Kapoor Shares Photo After Getting Bail In Drugs Case; Says 'I Have Been Cooperating'
Another celebrity who has been embroiled in a drug case from the world of showbiz is Siddhanth Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor's son and Shraddha Kapoor's brother, who has himself acted in movies like Shootout at Wadala, Ugly, Haseena Parkar and Chehre among others.
He was arrested after Police conducted a raid at a Bengaluru hotel.?The cops had sent the samples of 35 people for drugs test. Siddhanth Kapoor was one among six who tested positive.?
Siddhanth Kapoor's statement on arrest in drugs case
The actor and the four others who were arrested were released on station bail late on Monday. A day after his released, he was called for a day-long interrogation by the Bengaluru police.?
He said, "I was at the hotel and there was an investigation going on. I have been cooperating. The Bangalore police have been really good, they are doing a great job. They should continue what they are doing to save many lives."

He also shared a?selfie with a friend on board his flight, hinting that he is on his way back.?Siddhanth added a heart and a folded hand emoji.
His lawyer?Praveen Muguli also gave his statement. He said, "The alleged offences are bailable in nature. Yesterday he (Siddhanth) was released on bail. Today he came for statement. The police have recorded the statement. He will cooperate and he will come for investigation purposes. Anytime he¡¯s asked to come, he will corporate with the police."
During the interrogation, Siddhant told the cops that he did not know about the drugs. The actor, who had reportedly consumed cocaine, claimed that his friends gave him drinks and cigarettes laced with drugs.
Bhimashankar Guled, DCP (East) told IANS, "Siddhanth Kapoor claimed that drugs were mixed in his drinks and he didn't know about it. He told the police that he had been in Bengaluru many times to attend parties as DJ. This was the fourth time that he went to the hotel from where he was arrested. We have got the guest list and suspicious persons will be called for questioning."??
