'Forgot that I could be loved so much': ARMYs get emotional after Jin calls BTS fans his family

BTS member Jin has been working tirelessly to reconnect with fans, also known as ARMYs, ever since he returned from the military after completing his mandatory military service earlier this year. He recently reflected on his bond with the ARMYs in a South Korean talk show, sharing how much their love and support have meant for him all these years. The K-pop star also talked about the inspiration behind his fan-dedicated song in his upcoming maiden solo album - Happy.

'I think of my BTS fans as my family'

Jin, the eldest member of the BTS, guest-starred on Episode 64 of?Jang Do Yeon‘s show?Salon Drip 2?to promote his album Happy. During the heartfelt chat with host Jang, the Super Tuna hitmaker got candid about his bond with fans, revealing how they helped him endure hard things during his difficult times.

When the host asked him about his viral photos and videos at?Milan Fashion Week with fans, Jin explained how ARMYs helped him get through the event. The singer described meeting ARMYs as running into familiar faces, friends, and family in a crowded and unfamiliar place.

He explained, "So many people came which I was so thankful about. Sometimes, when I have to attend events like that where I don’t know other people… I get so lost! I’m super shy, and… But I think of my fans as my family, and when they call out my name, it gives me the courage to act shamelessly.?That’s how I can act more boldly and get more energy. As someone who is very thankful to my fans, it’s my job to make them happy!"

'He loves ARMYs so much'
