After the success of his chart-topping solo debut HAPPY, BTS' eldest member Kim Seokjin, better known as Jin, is making his much-anticipated comeback with his second album, Echo. His agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, shared an exciting update with fans known as ARMY by releasing an official statement and teaser details about the upcoming release.
While the exact release date remains under wraps, the 7-track album is scheduled for May. The teaser poster revealed by the agency features the word Echo in bold, surrounded by phrases like "Born to be wild", "Rock your heart out", and "Play it loud", hinting at an versatile concept.
To build excitement, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that new content related to Echo will be revealed daily from April 15 to April 19 at 6 AM KST. These daily drops are designed to offer fans sneak peeks into Jin¡¯s new era, keeping ARMY actively engaged as the official release draws near. The countdown has already stirred excitement online, with fans eagerly awaiting each new update.
Echo marks an important moment in Jin's solo career as he continues to showcase his individual artistry outside of BTS. Interestingly, fans recalled a memorable OT7 live broadcast before the members enlisted, where Jin mentioned he had something planned for May ¡ª an album that would mark the end of BTS' Chapter 2, where each member pursued solo projects while fulfilling their mandatory military service.?
Following Echo's release, BTS is set for a long-awaited reunion. With Jin and J-Hope already discharged, the remaining five members ¡ª RM, SUGA, Jimin, V, and Jungkook ¡ª will complete their service by June.?
