BTS member Jimin has penned a touching note to fans, known as ARMY, sharing insights into his military life and his thoughts on the highly anticipated BTS reunion. The letter, translated in English by fan pages, began with a simple yet heartfelt greeting: "ARMY, it's Jimin."
Jimin, who enlisted in the army in December 2023 along with Jungkook, reflected on his time in the military, saying, "The sun has changed twice. I've been serving for about a year and two months now. Yes, I think time really does pass differently here."
He acknowledged that life in the military isn't easy but expressed his gratitude for the experiences and lessons he's gained and looked forward to sharing them with fans soon.
The Muse hitmaker gave a glimpse into his daily routine, which consists of training, work, and exercise. While his daily life hasn't gone through much change, Jimin revealed that his conversations with fellow member Jungkook before bed have been a highlight and have changed significantly over time. "As the days go by and we get closer to meeting ARMY again, we've been discussing what we need to prepare for, what we'll show in the future, and what kind of life we'll live," he wrote.
In a candid moment, Jimin confessed that he's feeling a little scared about the upcoming reunion, given that it's been a while since BTS performed together. "To be honest, it's a bit scary. We haven't performed together in a long time, and it's been a while since we've devoted ourselves to performance and music, so I'm a bit nervous," he admitted.
However, Jimin reassured fans that he's committed to giving his best performance, saying, "I don't waver in my determination to give you the best show for all of you who have waited so long." He promised to work hard to prepare, adding, "I'll really try my best. I'll come back with a great look."
Jimin's letter concluded with a heartfelt message to ARMY: "To the ARMY, who we miss and are grateful for until the day we meet again, I hope you stay healthy and have a happy day. Happy New Year, ARMY. I love you."
