Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun was released from Chanchalguda prison this morning after being granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court. Speaking to the media, the actor reassured fans there was no cause for concern and once again expressed his condolences for the tragic stampede at his film's premiere earlier this month, which resulted in a woman's death. However, as videos surfaced of Allu Arjun's dramatic homecoming with his family, the internet began to criticise the "grand" display, calling it insensitive, considering the tragic loss of life during the stampede.
On his return, Allu Arjun was embraced by his brother Allu Sirish, followed by a long and teary hug by wife Sneha - all under the glare of cameras. The actor even lifted up the kids in his arms showering them with kisses as he headed back into their Hyderabad residence.

The videos of Allu Arjun's reunion with his family after his release from jail have sparked a mixed reaction on Reddit.?
Some users likened the homecoming to a "Kargil war return," with one commenting, "Jung jeetke aaya hai kya?"?
Others expressed concern, with one pointing out that the woman who died in the stampede at his film's premiere also had a family.?
While a few defended the actor's display, suggesting his family was naturally emotional, many felt the scene was excessively dramatic for someone who spent only one night in jail. "Such a drama," one user remarked, while another compared it to Sanjay Dutt's return, saying, "Itna natak to sanjay dutt ne bhi nahi kiya tha."
Criticism also flowed calling it an over-the-top PR spectacle, with one user questioning why everything had to be "camera ke samne." (in front of the cameras).?
Another pointed out how this is a 'perfectly curated moment': "A jail returnee, brother running to hug, kids beaming, mother just looking in disbelief, wife has water in her eyes. The whole scene makes you think about the plight and longing of family members to see returnee's face."
