Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 5: For the first three days, this aerial thriller seemed like a revival of Akshay Kumar¡¯s box office drought, however, the numbers have started to drop drastically. After an unfortunate drop of 120% on Day 4, the numbers have again dipped by 20% on the first Tuesday (January 28). Here¡¯s a detailed look at Sky Force¡¯s box office collection so far.
As per industry tracker Sacnilk, Sky Force earned Rs 5.75 crore on Day 5 which is the smallest figure in the last five days since the movie released on 24th January. The overseas earnings currently stand at Rs 7 crore making the worldwide collection of Sky Force - Rs. 96.75 crore. While its India net collections stand at Rs 75 crore, the domestic gross is calculated at Rs 89.75 crore.
The Times of India rated the movie 3.5 out of 5 and a part of their review read, ¡°Sky Force stands out for its balanced portrayal of patriotism, avoiding overt sensationalism or antagonism. The film is a fitting tribute, making it a must-watch for those who are drawn to war dramas that blend action with heartfelt storytelling. A few bumps in the narrative aside, it¡¯s a cinematic flight worth boarding.¡±
Other than Akshay, this film also stars debutant Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur, Sharad Kelkar, Mohit Chauhan, Manish Choudhary and Varun Badola among others. Sky Force is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Amar Kaushik, Bhaumik Gondaliya and Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Jio Studios, Maddock Films and Leo Films UK Production. Cinematographed by Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran and edited by A. Sreekar Prasad, the film is based on a true story.
