'Tara' Actors Deven Bhojani & Navneet Nishan Support Vinta Nanda On Her Rape Allegations Against The 'Most Sanskari' Man
The most gut-wrenching story that left the entire nation horrified was of TV show producer Vinta Nanda, who alleged that the ¡°most Sansakari¡± person of Bollywood raped her at her own house.?
The nation is thanking Vinta Nanda for speaking up. ¡°I have waited for this moment to come for 19 years,¡± she wrote. People feel sorry and angry at the same time that this happened to her and that she was forced to stay silent all this while.
But now, she has spoken up, people believe her and stand by her.
Vinta Nanda, who was the TV producer of show?Tara, is not only found support from thousands of people on social media, but also from actors Deven Bhojani and Navneet Nishan who also worked with her on the show.
Deven Bhojani, who joined the show in its second generation, says he has heard the stories of the man in question going ¡°crazy¡±.
¡°I haven't worked with him often. But yes, I have heard about it vaguely that he is a nice person during the day but after evening, when he drinks, he gets crazy. He abuses, he gets into fights and does all sorts of things that a normal Alok ji would never even think of. So this is the image, these are the stories I have heard. I don't know how much truth lies in these stories,¡± he told Times Now.
He also said that he remembers working with Vinta on three shows, which got axed overnight over ¡°creative differences¡± as it was said then. He says he now knows the real reason. He also applauded the ¡°courageous woman¡± Vinta is.
Similarly, Navneet Nishan, who was the lead actress on the show opposite the man in question said, she also suffered because of his ¡°power trip.¡±
¡°I empathise with Vinta for the terrible pain she has gone through; it is unimaginable. I dealt with the four year harassment by slapping the man in question and it is done and dusted. l suffered the loss of the show and was further shamed by the man through media and I endured that. I fought my battles there and then. I am immensely glad that the power trip and sexual dominance coming from this power is being called out. It is high time,¡± she told PTI.
