?Fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani is overjoyed to be associated with Olympics this year. The event is going held in Paris from from July 26 to August 11, 2024.The designer is the official dress partner for Team India.?
Speaking about it in a leading publication, Tarun said that he grew up surrounded by uniforms as his father was an Admiral in the Indian navy. "That's probably why I wear a bundi every day, my own daily uniform," he said.?
The ceremonial outfit will have men athletes donning Tasva, Tarun Tahiliani's ready to wear menswear collection Tasva.Using India's tricolour and Indian fabrics like brocade and Ikat print, he plans on creating a comfortable and contemporary look for the athletes.?
"For the men, a short kurta paired with a bundi offers a stylish and comfortable choice¨Ctrust me, I live in them, and I wouldn't call myself particularly athletic. The goal is to create outfits that empower our athletes to represent India with pride and confidence,"? continued Tarun Tahiliani.

While the men will crisp kurtas with bundis, women athletes will be looking stunning with ready to wear pre-stitched sarees.?The saree will have a Ikat print with an impression of the tri-colour.?It will be paired with a matching blouse. The sarees will also be reportedly designed by the designer.
