Remember Eshna Kutty, the girl who hula-hooped her way into our hearts while dancing to Genda Phool? She's back in the news with a bigger accomplishment. The artist has arrived in Paris to show her support for the athletes competing in the 2024 Olympics. She even shared a video on Instagram of herself dancing to a popular Indian song against the backdrop of the renowned Eiffel Tower.
Kutty, dressed in a red saree with a blue blouse and yellow sports shoes, danced to Prabhu Deva's Mukkala Mukkabala song in collaboration with Olympic Khel.
The International Olympic Committee has designated Olympic Khel as the official Indian account for the Olympic Games. She juggles the hula loop with ease, showcasing her unique skill.
Eshna Kutty captioned her photo, "What a privilege to be in Paris with my hoops, supporting our athletes during the Paris 2024 Olympics!" She said, "I hope this saree flow inspires you to go out and move and create your own flow movies. Tag Olympic Khel and 'LetsMoveIndia' for a feature. If I had five hula hoops on, I'd be a spinning Olympic logo, I know!"
Chitra Narayanan, Eshna Kutty's pleased mother, couldn't stop herself from uploading the video on her X account. She captioned the clip, "Countdown to the Paris Olympics." It has gotten my daughter Eshna Kutty into the saree flow, which she is supporting with hoops. "Go India." In her post, she used various hashtags, including "LetsMoveIndia".
Eshna Kutty rose to prominence after a video of her dancing on Genda Phool was much praised. Even Anand Mahindra, the Mahindra Group Chairman, tweeted about it.
