We will get there, and by ¡®there¡¯ we mean the myriad possibilities of getting out of a funk. But, before that, let¡¯s address what being in a funk really is! Urban Dictionary (aka the millennial bible) defines it as ¡®Temporary sadness. Feeling sad and down and not knowing why. No motivation to do anything and always tired. Almost like you're missing something but do not know what it is. Like a small phase of depression that only lasts a couple days or weeks.¡¯
Sound familiar? Well, it does to us! Call it that pressure that comes with being plugged in 24x7 or the mere fact that we are surrounded by people (seemingly) living and flaunting their best lives all the time, it can easily make us feel low. Our generation finds itself in a funk often enough to make us want to address it today!
We asked around and snooped enough to finally get some answers and plausible ways to deal with a funk. The next time you find yourself in one, refer back to this post and feel free to steal, nay, borrow an idea or two from here!

Priyanka Gupta, 30, says her go to solution when she¡¯s feeling like she¡¯s in a funk is to exploit Youtube and Netflix and preferably watch something light that¡¯s going to make her laugh. We think this is a pretty legit plan and obviously, there¡¯s no harm trying it out!

Maybe not a popular answer but it seems to work for Pallavi. She thinks that the best way to beat the funk is to stay busy and let work simply take over. That way she¡¯s not overthinking things. We guess it¡¯s a productive and healthy way to deal with the problem. Kudos to her, and we¡¯re game to try this next time!
