In a shocking revelation, it has been reported that actor Salman Khan once had a close escape from a sharpshooter of the?Lawrence Bishnoi?gang.
According to Times Now, a sharpshooter with a small-bore weapon hidden in a modified hockey casing to kill Salman Khan.?
The sharpshooter was reportedly planted out of the actor¡¯s residence who tried to assassinate him but he backed out at the last moment by chance.
The gang had conducted a recce of Salman Khan and knew that the actor doesn¡¯t accompany security guards when he goes out cycling in the morning.
However on the day the gang had decided to execute their plan, there was an escort of Mumbai Police at his gate as the actor had to attend a public function.
The sharpshooter reportedly backed off due to the fear of getting caught.
Earlier, the Mumbai Police had said that three members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang delivered a letter threatening Salman Khan and his father, writer Salim Khan.
This, according to the police was part of gangster Vikram Brar's plan to terrorise them and extort money from them.
'Mahakal' alias Siddhesh alias Saurabh Kamble, an alleged member of the Bishnoi gang, made this revelation during interrogation.?
Mumbai Police's crime branch questioned Kamble in Pune on Thursday. He was also grilled by the Delhi Police's Special Cell in connection with Moosewala's murder, while a Punjab police team has also landed in Pune to question him in the same case.?
`Mahakal' was arrested by Pune police earlier this week. He allegedly told investigators that three members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang came from Jalour in Rajasthan and one of them placed the letter on a bench in Bandra Bandstand area where Salim Khan was sitting after his morning walk on Sunday.?
Vikram Brar, the brother of Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar had planned to target Salman Khan and extort money from him after the brutal killing of Moosewala, according to police. Brar, who sent the three men with the threat letter to Mumbai, wanted to take advantage of the situation in the aftermath of Moosewala's murder, they said.?
"Salim Khan, Salman Khan, bahut jald aapka Moosewala hoga," (Salim Khan, Salman Khan, you will meet Moosewala's fate very soon)", the letter that ended with initials `GB' (Goldy Brar) and LB' (Lawrence Bishnoi) said.
