After the doctor conducted the check-up, the three persons went to a friend's home in Ward 12. During the visit, two men approached her. One of the accused men was identified as Mitu alias Amit.?
The two persons allegedly started behaving inappropriately with the woman. When the woman made an attempt to resist, the accused allegedly assaulted her. The police said that the accused had wooden sticks in their four-wheeler.?
The accused also chased the woman in an attempt to hit her, Hindustan Times reported. Preet Pal Sangwan, assistant commissioner of police (crime) said that when the villagers heard the commotion, they rushed to the spot and surrounded the woman.?
The 35-year-old woman, her son and nephew were rescued by the locals. The police added that the accused made an attempt to murder the woman before fleeing from the spot. The accused were booked under section 323 (assault), 34 (common intention), 354 B (molestation) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). As per the police, the accused molested the woman over personal rivalry. The accused have not been arrested yet. ???
