Struggling budget carrier Jet Airways which had come under fire last month after dozens of passengers onboard a Mumbai-Jaipur flight suffered bleeding from the ears and nose due to cabin pressure lose at 13,000-14,000 feet has offered complimentary tickets and flying benefits to each of the 166 passengers on the flight that day.
According to The Indian Express, the airline in an email sent on September 27, apologised to the passengers about the incident.

¡°The incident in the passenger cabin was unfortunate and your disappointment is entirely justified. While the flight turned back from its intended route and landed safely at Mumbai, we are concerned that some of our guests on board 9W 697 experienced ear and nose-related issues,¡± the email read.
As per the email, offered a return Economy class ticket on its domestic network for a non-stop flight. Each passenger can redeem the offer for themselves or nominate a beneficiary for the same till March 31, 2019. Also, the airline has offered to credit 25,000 JP (Jetprivilege) Miles to their frequent flier account, that can help them buy certain flying benefits and privileges on the flight.

Following the incident, India's aviation regulator DGCA has reportedly begun inspection of the training programme of Jet Airways.

As per the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) guidelines, all air operators are required to develop a training programme for their crew and dispatchers. It's also the responsibility of the operator to ensure that its training programme is complete, current, and in compliance with the DGCA guidelines.

Jet Airways which is said to be the second-largest airline is also facing a cash crisis off late and has defaulted on payments.
The airline has told its employees that some portion of their August salaries will be disbursed on October 9. Earlier this month the company said it will release the employee salaries in two different instalments, on September 11 and the remaining on September 26.
In August, Jet had told its pilots that the airline may be grounded in 60 days unless they agree for a 15 per cent pay cut for two years.
