But a kind-hearted customer decided to take action and launched a creative fundraiser on Milaap to help him out.?

To make donating easy, the customer designed a T-shirt featuring a QR code that directed people straight to the donation page.
The customer, who admired Sonu's respectful nature and golden heart, praised him for his kindness and promised to download all the songs from Sonu's cherished playlist once he got a new phone.?
The QR code led one to the donation page which had the message, "My barber's phone was stolen, and he's a kind soul who listens to everyone's problems without judgment. I want to bring back his smile by gifting him a new phone. From Kumar Sanu to Honey Singh, his playlist is pure gold!"
The story gained traction online when an X user spotted someone wearing the fundraiser T-shirt and shared it, saying, "Spotted this guy in CP today (the QR code opens a fundraiser for his barber)."
This heartfelt gesture caught the attention of Akis Evangelidis, Co-Founder and Head of Marketing for Nothing, who tweeted, "Jugaad, gotta respect my man for looking after his barber. Let's find this guy and give him a phone."
In a delightful twist, Nothing tracked down Sonu and surprised him with a brand new Nothing Phone 1, worth Rs 30,000.?
Sharing a photo of the overjoyed barber with his new phone, the brand posted, "I'm not crying, you are. Here's Sonu with his new phone."
