A serial killer who was on the run for more than two decades has been finally arrested by Punjab police. Jagroop Singh, an autorickshaw driver in Ludhiana, who used to murder his victims by crushing their faces with bricks and disfiguring them was arrested by police on Friday.

45-year-old Singh was arrested while investigating a recent murder case in which a painter Rajinder Kumar of Patiala was found murdered in the same modus operandi.
While interrogation he admitted to the police about his past murders too, beginning with two killings in 1995.?
He committed his third murder in 1998, followed by another one 2004, after developing an affair with a woman called Paramjeet Kaur and killed her husband Kuldeep Singh.
In 2011 Kuldip developed relation with a woman Hema Rani, and then killed her husband Nand Lal.

Similarly, in 2016 he got developed a relationship with a woman Paramjeet Kaur of Ludhiana and then killed Paramjit's husband Kuldip Singh by hitting on his face by the brick.?
After Paramjeet got wind of Singh's illicit affairs he killed her too, in a similar fashion.
Even his last victim Rajinder's case there was a woman involved. Singh was having an affair with a woman called Hema, who later he suspected was having a relationship with Rajinder, driving him to commit the murder.?
