The inter-faith couple passport row seems to have left External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj exposed to trolling as people are trolling her for issuing the passport to the couple in haste by overlooking many necessary procedures.?
Last week, the Passport Seva Kendra, Lucknow official, Vikas Mishra, was transferred to Gorakhpur after the interfaith couple alleged that he misbehaved with them for belonging to the different faith groups. The couple alleged that Mishra asked the man to convert to Hinduism and also mocked wife for marrying a Muslim.?
The couple then tweeted it and media picked it from there on. The minister allowed the authority to issue the passport to the couple despite many discrepancies in their paper and many other necessities like police verification were also bypassed.?
However, the minister took the trolling lightly and even reshared them.
Sushma Swaraj has been a firm minister who has helped people whenever she was asked to help. Twitter has been the mode, people have reached and? they had seldom disappointed anybody.?
Meanwhile, the man who claimed to be the eyewitness to Mishra scolding the couple claimed he was kidnapped at gunpoint.
Meanwhile, Kuldeep Singh ¨C¨C the man who is said to be an eyewitness to the scuffle between Seth, Anas and passport officer Vikas Mishra -- has approached the police claiming he was kidnapped at gunpoint.
"Around 7.30 pm on Saturday Kuldeep came to the Sansarpur police outpost in the Mailani police station area of Lakhimpur Kheri. He told police that he was in Jankipuram area when three people took him at gunpoint and forced him into their SUV. He claimed that he was sedated. When he recovered, he saw that the vehicle was parked and that his captors were outside at some distance. He claims to have taken advantage of this and run away," said Abhishek Pratap, Gola circle officer told The Indian Express.
