Remember the "there was internet and satellite technology during Mahabharata," statement by Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb?
Well, now another BJP leader thinks it wasn't internet, but it was live TV!?
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma has claimed that journalism began during Mahabharata.

According to Uttar Pradesh minister Dinesh Sharma, Sanjay, the mythological character who was Dhritarashtra's charioteer, narrated "a bird's eye view of the war of Mahabharata" in Kurukshetra while sitting in Hastinapur.

¡°Yeh live telecast nahi to aur kya hai (if it is not live telecast, then what is it ?)," Sharma asked.
Sharma was speaking at an event to mark the 'Hindi Journalism Day'.?
The Deputy CM did not stop there, he went on to validate another ludicrous statement by another BJP leader.
Echoing Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Sharma said Narada Muni was like search engine Google.

"Your Google has started now, but our Google started long time back. ¡®Narad Muni¡¯ was the epitome of information. He could reach anywhere and transfer a message from one place to another by saying ¡®Narayana¡¯ three times,¡± Sharma said.?
The UP Deputy CM is the latest entrant into the growing list of BJP leaders wanting to link anything and everything to the "glorious past" of India during Mahabharata times.
Even Prime Minister Modi himself had claimed that "Mahabharata says Karna was not born out of his mother's womb. This means people then were aware of genetic science. There must have been a plastic surgeon who fixed an elephant's head on Ganesha".? ?
