In a display of sheer warm-heartedness, a 73-year-old man was recently spotted rescuing stranded puppies at the flooded Sree Mahadeva Temple in Aluva, Kerala.
The elderly man, amid the backdrop of heavy rains and waterlogged streets, walked out in the open to help the animals in need with a sense of care and concern for their safety.
After carefully picking up the puppies from the temple premises, he carried them across the flooded pathway with his bare hands, making sure they reached a safer location.
The touching incident, where Madhu was seen holding 2-3 puppies close to him to facilitate their escape from the rising water, was captured on video by photojournalist Sanesh. Sanesh reported the event on X, sharing a heartwarming video that showed Madhu's compassionate act of helping the puppies cross the flooded area and find a secure resting spot.
