A video circulating on social media has brought attention to a unique and dangerous act. In the video, an old guy is seen hanging from the handle of a moving train, which has left many social media users amused and alarmed. While such acts are typically associated with younger people, the sight of an older man engaging in reckless behaviour has astonished many. However, this is not the first time such things have happened.
Despite the obvious danger of the conduct, the video has elicited a rush of lighthearted responses.?However, the pleasure surrounding these films ignores the real consequences associated with such activity.
The incident recalls the terrible story of Farhat Azam Sheikh, a Mumbai teenager known for his risky pranks on local trains on April 14, Sheikh, whose skate trick video went viral, lost an arm and a leg at Masjid railway station.
Sheikh later told authorities that the viral video was injured on March 7 at the Sewri station and shared on social media to seek attention. Following the tragedy, Central Railway posted a video in which Sheikh, who had been amputated, urged the public to avoid such stunts, highlighting the hazards involved.?
Authorities have stressed that such activities are not only illegal but also deadly. While the films may achieve brief online celebrity, they can have long-term and fatal ramifications.
