The video, captioned ¡°Lieutenant Dan will not leave,¡± shows the person filming urging the man to seek shelter, saying, ¡°Can we please get you to a hotel? Everyone¡¯s been asking, we¡¯ve got to get you off this thing.¡±
Unfazed, the man replies, ¡°Doesn¡¯t matter, boat floats. That¡¯s the whole thing¡ boat will go up with the water, and down with the water.¡±
Despite repeated pleas, he remains firm, even saying in a follow-up clip, ¡°I put my faith in God, I don¡¯t put my faith in man.¡±
