A video has gone viral on social media, purportedly showing the barrage of Iranian missiles heading to Israel. The video, said to be shot from the cockpit of a British Airways flight that was on its way to Dubai, showed the ballistic missiles rising into the night sky on their way to Israel.

According to reports, all the missiles safely cleared the flight, which was later diverted due to safety concerns. Several airlines operating in the Gulf have also adjusted their flight routes to ensure passenger safety following Iran's attack on Israel. Neighbouring countries have closed their airspace, and airline crews are navigating alternative routes to avoid the escalating conflict.
Iran's Civil Aviation Organisation announced on Wednesday that all flights in the country would remain cancelled until Thursday.
Iran is believed to have fired at least 180 missiles at Israel, including at the capital Tel Aviv on Tuesday, marking the most serious confrontation between the two sides.
The Iranian military on Tuesday posted the video of the missile strike on social media, saying: "These are our hypersonic systems, catch them if you can."
Amid fears that the confrontation could lead to an all-out war, Iran on Wednesday said its action, a "self-defence", is concluded unless the "Israeli regime decides to invite further retaliation."
However, this is unlikely to be the end of escalations, as Israel has vowed to retaliate.
US news website Axios, citing Israeli officials, reported that Israel will launch a "significant retaliation" within days that could target oil production facilities inside Iran and other strategic sites.
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu termed the Iranian missile attack a big mistake.
"Iran made a big mistake tonight, and it will pay for it," he said.
Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari said: "Iran's attack is a severe and dangerous escalation. There will be consequences... We will respond wherever, whenever, and however we choose, in accordance with the directive of the government of Israel."
