A good samaritan jumped into the River Thames in London to save a dog that was struggling to stay alive. In a video footage, uploaded on Twitter by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, a crew on a lifeboat comes to rescue the man who fights for dear life by balancing on rescue chains attached to the embankment wall. In his hands is the dog he saved.
The crew first takes the dog and wraps it in a warm blanket. Next, they help the man on the boat.

It is when it reaches the shore does the crew realise that the dog wasn't even the man's own pet. The owner of the dog, standing next to the shore waiting for his dog, rushes toward the crew to express his gratitude to the?saviour of his pet.
