Assadullah Orakzai, the Pakistani-origin terrorist who was also the ISIS Khorasan Head of Intelligence, was killed by the NDS, Afghanistan's intelligence agency near Jalalabad, Nangarhar, as reported by TOLO news, according to a TNN report.?
"The Special Units of the NDS have eliminated Ziaurrahman known as Assadullah Orakzai, the native of Akhel Orakzai agency of Pakistan during a targeted operation," the agency's statement said.?
Orakzai, the NDS said, was involved in plotting deadly attacks on a number of military and civilian targets in Afghanistan.?

On April 4, the NDS said it arrested Abdullah Orakzai, who is known as Aslam Farooqi, the leader of the Khorasan branch of Daesh and 19 other IS members including Qari Zahid and Saifullah known as Abu Talaha, during an operation by NDS special units. His death ends a reign of terror he had unleashed in the region.?
Meanwhile, India is preparing to bring back around 700 Sikhs who are suffering torture in Afghanistan. The first batch of Sikh returnees had landed in India on July 26 and included Nidan Singh Sachdeva, who was earlier abducted by militia groups affiliated to Haqqani network, in Afghanistan.?
