The conflict in Ukraine may certainly have put our faith in humanity into question, but there has been a colossal display of acts of kindness. From European mothers leaving their strollers at train stations for Ukrainian refugees, to mobile kitchens being set up to feed those affected by food shortages.
One such story is of a monastery in Odesa where women shelter and feed senior citizens, refugees and even homeless animals. The monastery has been sheltering at least 10 refugees every day since the war broke out in Ukraine.?

World Central Kitchen is a not-for-profit non-governmental organisation devoted to providing meals in the wake of natural disasters. Founded in 2010 by celebrity chef Jos¨¦ Andr¨¦s, the organisation prepared food in Haiti following its devastating earthquake.?

Meanwhile, the United States¡¯ top diplomat and defence chief were in Ukraine¡¯s capital Sunday, Kyiv said, making the first high-level visit by US officials since Russia invaded two months ago as hundreds remain trapped in the besieged city of Mariupol.
Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky met the US officials Sunday, as Mariupol¡¯s defences were ¡°already on the brink of collapse¡± and Ukraine was in dire need of offensive weapons.
