As Virat Kohli stroked his way to an unbeaten 85 against New Zealand on October 16, it was just business as usual for the 27-year-old.

Yes, nowadays it is no more a surprise to see him take India to ?victory. It is no secret that ? ?Kohli thrives while chasing a target. The numbers back him up too.
In the 61 successful chases he has been involved in, Kohli averages 86.15 with 13 hundreds to his credit.
In fact it is not too far-fetched to say that he is a better chaser than Michael Bevan and MS Dhoni.

While Bevan and Dhoni have changed the complexion of many games, Kohli is simply a class apart. Since making his debut in 2008, the man has proven his mettle at every level, particularly in ODIs.
Dhoni as an average of 102.08 and Bevan 86.05 in successful chases but Kohli's consistency is much more as more often than not, he has had to shoulder the entire innings.

With years of cricket ahead of him, trust Kohli to continue breaking more records. By the time he quits, he will certainly have created a legacy worth living up to.
