The Bloodline saga in WWE is far from over, even after the Original Bloodline, led by Roman Reigns, picked up a hard-fought victory over Solo Sikoa's new Bloodline at the Survivor Series: WarGames PPV. The Bloodline Civil War, as it has turned out to be, is set to continue and could also see both sides recruiting new faces.
One such potential recruit, many believe, is on his way to WWE is Zilla Fatu, the 25-year-old who has been garnering headlines in the independent scene.
As his name suggests, Fatu is a member of the legendary Anoa¡¯i family of Samoan wrestlers and the son of the late Eddie Fatu, who wrestled as Umaga in WWE.
Fatu recently opened up about which side of the Bloodline he would like to join in a potential WWE call-up.
¡°I might have to go with¡ Imma break it down why I have to go with him, but Imma have to go with Team OTC, baby, Roman Reigns,¡± Fatu told Busted Open Radio.
Explaining the reason for his decision to join hands with the Original Tribal Chief, and not his cousin and indie tag-team partner Jacob Fatu, the fourth-generation Samoan wrestler said things have not been smooth between them lately.
"Obviously, everybody knows me and Jacob [Fatu] teamed up on the indies before he got signed. Ever since Jacob got signed, he's been acting crazy. That's not the Jacob I know. But he's been acting crazy," Fatu said.
On Solo Sikoa, Fatu said they have not seen eye-to-eye since childhood and that he disapproves of the New Tribal Chief's use of his father's finishing move, the Samoan Spike.
"I gave him (Solo) his first Rock Bottom in the pool at his dad's house. And for him to try to take my dad's [finishing] move or whatever, I don't like that. So I'm gonna go with OTC. I'm gonna help Roman Reigns. Whatever he needs, I'm there," he said.
