World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) made a spectacular debut on Netflix with the streaming of Monday Night Raw on January 6. WWE pulled out all the stops to make the Raw Netflix debut a grand affair, adding star power with special appearances by The Rock, The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, and more.
But for many WWE fans, the biggest moment of the day was when John Cena's music hit. The nearly 18,000-strong crowd at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California erupted as Cena made his way into the ring, possibly for the last time in front of them.
It was a bittersweet moment for the crowd as Cena officially started his farewell tour on the January 6 episode of Raw.
Cena touched upon his possible WrestleMania opponents, such as CM Punk, Logan Paul, GUNTHER, and Cody Rhodes, before suggesting that he might not break the record for the most world championships.
Cena said that he didn't see himself winning his 17th world championship as he had a terrible match record in the past few years.
The 47-year-old then said it could take a miracle for him to win another championship, before making his intentions to win the Royal Rumble clear, which would guarantee him a spot in the main event of WrestleMania 41.
