WWE Smackdown March 21: The latest episode of WWE Smackdown kicked off an intense note with Randy Orton challenging Kevin Owens to a match at WrestleMania 41. This came after weeks of tensions between the two men. The match is likely to be formally added to the card for the ‘Show of Shows’ in the near future.

Randy Orton gives Kevin Owens a piece of his mind

Randy Orton opened this week’s edition of SmackDown but was interrupted by Kevin Owens. KO apologised to the veteran for attacking him last November. He even expressed a desire to team up with him at WrestleMania 41 in order to challenge The Street Profits for their Tag Titles.?

?Orton, however, was not impressed and simply asked him to ‘shove it’. He then challenged Owens to a match at the ‘Show of Shows’ this April.?

How did KO and Randy Orton’s feud begin?

Kevin Owens put Randy Orton on the shelf last November after hitting him with a piledriver, a banned move. ‘The Viper’ eventually returned at Elimination Chamber 2025 and stopped the Canadian star from potentially ending Sami Zayn’s career. Owens in turn stopped Orton from attacking Carmello Hayes on SmackDown
