Apple is changing how iPhone users end calls. You read that right, Apple is moving the "end call" button on iOS. Recently, Apple rolled out iOS 17 beta 5, and one of the changes noted in this version is the placement of the end call button on the call screen.?
As Gizmodo reported, Apple is changing the button's position, moving it from the centre to the right corner.
Who thought moving the end call option button to the corner would be a good idea? Besides this, other buttons on the call screen are being moved around. Now, there will be numerous buttons at the bottom where only the end call button was visible.
This small change in the iOS user interface could feel like a challenge to Apple loyalists who have got used to the end call button being in the centre. However, it wouldn't be long before the mind registers it as being in the corner.

The distinct red colour will differentiate it from other in-call features, but even then, stylistically, the centre placement appears more comfortable to use.?
It's important to note that this is still a beta feature and Apple might reverse its decision by the time iOS 17 actually rolls out to iPhone users. iOS 17 is expected to launch with the iPhone 15 series, slated to release on September 12.
