We often try to inspire ourselves from famous personalities, people who have accomplished so much in life, try to replicate what their habits were, in the hope that they would one day make us successful.
And most of these people tend to have some really crazy habits that can get very tricky to follow. Take Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, for example.
In a recent interview with Wired, Jack Dorsey, CEO of microblogging platform Twitter, revealed a bunch of things about himself, about Twitter and what they have in store for us. However, apart from all the humorous and clever responses, one response that truly surprised the people of the internet were his diet regimes.
Twitter user @PeterKimFrank, linked to an article asking about Dorsey's weekly routine: that he meditates for two hours every day, that he spends 52 minutes each day hopping in and out of a sauna and ice bath, and that only eats five meals a week. He wanted to know if the three of the mentioned habits were true or just satire.?
Jack Dorsey admitted that he tries to meditate two hours every day. He also said that he actually only eats seven meals per week -- and all of them are dinners. He also clarified the fact that he doesn¡¯t do sauna and ice baths every day.
Now in case you were in a state of ¡®what the f***k,¡¯ as we all were when we heard this, it was surely worse before. In fact, in April 2019 while he was in a conversation with Ben Greenfield for one of his fitness-related podcasts he revealed that he only ate five days a week, fasting from Friday to Sunday.?
He confessed that the first time he tried doing it felt like he was hallucinating, however, repeating it for a few times he realised the notion of how fasting helped him slowing down time.?
While his dieting regime surely seems scary, it is no doubt that Jack Dorsey is truly living the life of a yogi, meditating and eating meals only to help his body survive.
