WhatsApp could soon offer you cashback for the money you sent to your contacts using its newly unveiled UPI feature.?

This feature was first spotted on a beta build by feature tracker WABetaInfo. Screenshots of the feature shared in the blog reveal that WhatsApp will notify users that they can earn cashback on their next UPI payment using WhatsApp.
WABetaInfo highlights that users received up to Rs 10 cashback on their payment. While the amount doesn¡¯t sound as exciting, WABetaInfo reveals that the amount is expected to change before the feature is rolled out to everyone.?
It is also important to note that this cashback is exclusive to India and the UPI payments made in India. After making successful payments, the cashback will be sent to the user¡¯s registered account in around 48 hours, says WABetaInfo.?
The feature was spotted in WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.21.20.3. We don¡¯t know when this update will start rolling for everyone, but from the looks of it, it doesn't look far away.

WhatsApp seems to be taking the Google Pay route, which when it first debuted in 2017 (under the name of Google Tez) would offer crazy good cashback, attracting people to switch to the UPI app for their transaction needs.??
