The feature was in the works for a few weeks now and was slowly being added to users across the globe. However, WhatsApp has now announced that this feature is now rolling out for everyone across the world on iOS, Android, Web and even Desktop versions of the app.
Now whenever you record a voice message, as soon as you¡¯re done recording, it¡¯ll show you a play button on the centre to preview the message, alongside the send button and the trash can button.
WhatsApp seems to be taking a keen interest in making the voice message feature more user friendly. Just a few weeks ago, we saw WhatsApp roll out a feature where it allowed users to choose different playback speeds for the recipients of the voice message.
Moreover, according to WhatsApp features tipster WABetaInfo, WhatsApp¡¯s recent beta is also allowing users to pause and resume voice message recordings. Moreover, in September we saw that WhatsApp could be working on a voice transcription feature too that would offer speech-to-text on whatever¡¯s spoken on a voice message.

We also saw in one of the betas the ability to listen to a voice message, regardless of the page you were on, on the texting app. As of now, the voice message stops playing if one leaves the chat screen.
We have no idea when and if the other features would roll out for us all, but if you¡¯re someone who loves sending voice messages, your user experience on WhatsApp is sure to improve in the coming few weeks.
