Mercedes-Benz, the renowned luxury automobile company, has once again proved its dedication to creating a positive influence on lives outside of the automotive realm in an act of compassion and charity.?
Instagram user 'keepingfinn' recently shared the moving story of a specially-abled rescue dog getting a personalised wheelchair?and, with it, a second shot at a fulfilling life. The beautiful video grabbed the hearts of millions worldwide.?
This extraordinary act of generosity has not only drawn attention to the difficulties encountered by special-needs animals?but?also triggered an outpouring of love and respect for the business giant's charitable efforts.?
That is exactly what happened when an animal rescuer had the wonderful idea to contact Mercedes-Benz with a particular request. He thought to ask the automaker for a wheelchair for a rescue dog named Bunny after seeing a comment on a video. Guess what happened next? The brand provided the cute canine with a unique wheelchair?allowing her to move about freely.
It all started with a video posted on Henry Friedman's Instagram account.?He posted a video of Bunny and shared that her owners abandoned her after an accident caused her to lose her hind legs. The video instantly went viral with one commenter writing, "This dog deserves the Mercedes-Benz of wheelchairs."
This inspired Friedman to contact the company and tell them about Bunny's adventure. They not only liked the concept, but they also "hooked her up with a new set of wheels." He then accompanied Bunny to a store where she purchased her custom-made wheelchair.?
The joy doesn't stop there, as Friedman released another video of Bunny's reaction to the new device. " BENZ'S BUNNY!! And it's SOOO much more than just a badass wheelchair¡ªThese wheels will dramatically expand Bunny's environment and make her much more adoptable!" he commented alongside a video of the dog using her new wheelchair.
The touching video shows Bunny visiting the business and being greeted warmly by staff. They soon attached the special device to the dog's back. The rest of the clip shows her moving freely and having a good time.
People couldn't stop leaving heartwarming comments on both videos. Many people expressed how pleased they were with the clips. A few others also used heart emojis to express their feelings. Till now, the first post has got over 1.4 million views and 180K likes, while the second clip has over 39.1 million views and 4.5 million likes.
